John told me about a nightmare he had last week.

He was visited by the ghost of Gloria Gaynor.

At first he was afraid then he was petrified!

November  Stableford / Eclectic

The first really frosty morning saw the majority of Seniors stay at home in the warm!

Only seven started the competition and one had to pull out due to injury!

The scores reflected the trying conditions with no-one even approaching par!

Who is this?

--------------------------------------------------------------------------

Have you heard this one ?

3 men were sentenced to death.

Their final days arrived early in December.

When asked the Frenchman replied he wanted Boeuf bourguignon with wine for his final meal.

The morning after  his final meal the Frenchman was taken out and shot

The German asked for Bratwurst and beer

The next morning he was taken out and shot.

When the Englishman was asked he said he wanted a big dish of strawberries and Devon cream

'Strawberries!' said the prison governor 'Where are we going to get strawberries in the middle of December? They're out of season!'

'I can wait' said the Englishman

Who said?

Doug Sanders' outfit has been described as looking like the aftermath of a direct hit on a Pizza factory!

Was it:

a)  Frank Nobilo

b)  Dave Marr                      or

c)  Peter Alliss     ?

Wednesday Wizards.

 ( Musings from The Elders)

Well,  first there were 9 then 8 and 7 eventually set out in the rain and soon after, sleet..and It was COLD!..

After the first 9 holes we became 5 (Famous five?)…

We started with a ‘drop the BEST score format’ and ended with a Texas ..but it didn’t matter because we gave all the entry fees to Pudsey anyway..So nobody won any money

We ended in SUNSHINE…

For the record, one team scored a gross of 79, the other  team scored 69 gross.. officially, the game was abandoned…

That’s all…

Nige

Did I?

Play Golf or just spoil another walk?

As you walk off the course next time ask yourself the following questions:

Did I enjoy myself?

Have I signed my card?

Did I replace my divots and repair my pitch marks?

You should answer YES to them all!
